• One core 20 card Deck
  • This may only consist of Trainer Cards, Special Energy, and Energy (anything but Pokemon)
• Six 10 Card lines
  • Each 10 card line can only consist of Pokémon or Energy cards (Basic and/or Special)
  • All Pokemon in a line must be of the same type.
  • Each line must be a different type to your other 5 lines, eg:
    • you may have 1 Water, 1 Fire, 1 Grass, 1 Fighting, 1 Steel and 1 Dragon line
    • You may not have 2 Water, 3 Grass and 1 Dragon line
  • Fossil Item cards can count as the type they evolve into. For example, Antique Helix Fossil (MEW 153) would be legal as part of a Water line of 10 cards, when paired with Omanyte (MEW 138).

• At the start of each match, Players will reveal their 6 10-card lines to their opponents using the provided public lists
• Each competitor will have 2 mins to look over these sheets and make their Team Preview decisions, picking four of their own 10-card lines to bring to the Match (Game)
• Players will then shuffle their chosen lines with their 20 card core deck, making one 60 card deck
• Players then play against their opponent
• 6 prize cards

All cards will need to be in same colour sleeve – 80 sleeves will be needed in total.

Ie your grass line may contain 2 Crustle DRI-12 and your fighting line may contain 2 Crustle BLK-52.

You may not run more than 2 of any other same-named cards. 

For example, you may not have 2 Luminous Energy in your 20 cards, and another 2 Luminous in a line. You may only have 2 Luminous Energy total in you entire deck list..

Q: Can I run Eevee and Flareon in the same line?

A: No. Eevee, as a colourless Pokemon, can only be ran in a colourless line. Flareon, as a fire type, can only be ran in a fire type line. You can run both lines at the same time to enable evolving.

• Allowed Types: Dark, Dragon, Bug, Normal
• Allowed Pokémon: Politoed, Milotic, Frosslass
• Banned Types: Flying, Fighting, Steel
• Banned Categories: Mythical

The specific Pokémon banned in the GO meta are NOT banned in this format. 

Tera Types:

Tera Types may be ANY type that is NOT banned above.

Ie: Tera Flying, Tera Fighting, Tera Steel are banned.

You may Tera to a type not listed in the allowed types, such as Tera Water.

• Hydreigon is Legal
  • Both Hydreigon’s types, Dark and Dragon, are allowed and so Hydreigon is allowed.
• Inciniroar is Legal
  • As a Dark type without a banned secondary type (Fire), Inciniroar is allowed.
• Regirock is not legal
  • Regirock lacks an allowed type, and so is not legal
• Kommo-o is not legal
  • Whilst Dragon types are allowed, Kommo-o’s secondary type of fighting is banned, and so Kommo-o is not allowed.
• Politoed is legal
  • Whilst Politoed has no allowed types, it is explicitly allowed as an exception

Q: If my Pokémon’s type changes to one that is not legal, for example due to the affects of Protean, is that allowed?

A: There is no issues with type changes as the result of moves, abilities or other affects. As long as your open list is legal, the team matches, and Tera Type meets restrictions any changes during a game is not an issue.

Q: Are legendaries allowed?

A: The base ruleset is Reg F, and so we have modified the GO ruleset slightly, removing the no legends clause.

Competitors then have 5 minutes to build their Pokémon, before competing a Best of Three match. 

Players may build Pokemon before the cup, and then TM moves when prepping their team for each match.
