Q: According to the list of legal Pokemon, Porygon2 is permitted to be used. Does this mean I am permitted to use Porygon-Z?
A: Only if Porygon-Z is listed as legal.
Q: Gardevoir is listed as legal for TCG, but the only Gardevoir card in the Standard Format has a rulebox. Am I allowed to use Kirlia or Ralts?
A: Yes.
Q: Calyrex is often fused with Glastrier and Spectrier in the Video Game. Can I use Glastrier and Spectrier in the TCG format, if only Calyrex is listed?
A: No. Only Pokémon with Calyrex in their name would be allowed in such a case.
Q: Am I permitted to use any cards of the listed Pokémon?
A: All cards of any Pokémon listed can be used, assuming they are legal in the Standard Format and don’t have a Rule Box.
Q: Quagsire is on the list of legal Pokémon and the rules permit all alternate form of any Pokemon listed. Does this mean Clodsire is legal?
A: Only if Clodsire is listed as legal, since it is a different species, not an alternate form of Quagsire.
