| All rulebox cards, including but not limited to V, EX, ex, GX, prism, ACESPEC. |
| Professors signed up to this format will be given, after registration, 2 randomly chosen themes to build their deck around. Each possible theme will include limitations around the type or types allowed for the deck, the art used in the card itself, or the Pokémon themselves! More specifically, each theme contains 1 type of Pokémon allowed (Based on the typing from the video games), as well as additional cards to add, based on the theme. |
| For questions on whether a card is on-theme or not, relating to artwork, the card in use needs to have the elements referred. If a version of the card has the artwork with the elements but the card in use does not, that card will still be valid, but the original artwork corresponding to the theme will be preferred. |
