This free-to-enter tournament is exclusively open to Stage 1 & Stage 2 Professors from anywhere in the world. The Professor Cup combines a specially designed format, quirky unpredictable rules, and great prizes to create a memorable experience for all. The tournament comprises separate swiss rounds for TCG and VG players, and a combined top cut featuring the Top 4 players from each. On top of all that, there will be opportunities to win TCG booster packs every single round!
- Players who attend the Professor Conference on Saturday will receive a surprise bonus advantage during the Professor Cup.
- You must be a Stage 1 or Stage 2 Professor at the time of registration. If you believe there is a problem with your Professor stage, please contact support.pokemon.com at the earliest opportunity.
Format
The Glasgow Professor Cup features two separate Swiss round tournaments – one each for TCG and VG. The format details have now been attached to this post, and you can choose which format you’d like to play by indicating your preference in the form below!
For those who wish to play the VG format (which will be Double Battle) – your team-building skills will be tested here, though we will be able to provide one of QR code teams for you to use instead, should you wish. We recommend you build your own team though – you’re likely to be better at it than we are! 
After Swiss rounds have concluded, the Top 4 from each tournament will be thrown together in a combined Top 8, where all lucky Professors who made it this far will try their luck with a special Limited TCG format and specially created VG QR teams, the details of which will not be revealed until the day of the event (VG players, you will not need to bring your own cards. TCG players, you will not need to provide your own console. Everything will be provided for you)!
