Stage 1 and Stage 2 Professors
Format: Solomon Draft
Players will be randomly seated across from an opponent
Each player will be given 6 booster packs of cards
Each player will open all 6 packs without looking at their cards, discard the code card and shuffle the cards together
Players will flip a coin; winner of the coin flip will go first
Each player will turn over the top 2 cards of their stack. Each time a basic energy is revealed, the basic energy will be discarded, and the next card turned over
Player who won the coin flip (player 1) will choose 1 card
Player 2 will choose 2 cards
Player 1 will take remaining card
Players will repeat this process alternating who chooses the first card until all cards have been chosen
Players will make a 40-card deck including energy (basic energy available at the event)
Players play Swiss rounds, best of 1, based on number of participants
Top 8 will draft again and single elimination, best of 3, until a winner is determined
