Tournament Rules:

– The winner of the game is the one who draws 3 prize cards

– Best of 3 games

– Swiss system with 6 rounds – no cut to TOP (approximate number of rounds, subject to total number of players)

– Maximum time per round: 25 minutes + 5 minutes tiebreaker

To make the tournament more fun, special rules will be released before the start of each round. The rules will be decided by the Copag organization and announced before the start of each round.

Examples:

– Whenever you draw a card, reveal it. If it is possible to use the letter, use it. If not, put the card in your hand

– Players change their decks

– Play with the prize cards face up. Prize owners can purchase prizes whenever they want. When you knock out a Pokémon, your opponent is the one who buys the prize. If you buy all the prizes, your opponent wins.

– Reversed game phases: first attack, then play Trainer cards, energies, etc., then draw a card

– Pokemon HP multiplied by 2. All attacks deal 20 additional damage

– Bench reduced to 2

– For any action (card/skill/retreat/attack) the player must say: “The Professor says…”. If you don’t say it, the card/skill/recoil/attack loses its effect.

– Maximum cards in hand: 4. Whenever the player exceeds 4 cards in the hand, he must discard the surplus cards

– You can attach 2 energy cards per turn, and you can evolve a Pokémon on the turn it comes into play

– Draw 2 cards at the start of the turn

– During your opponent’s turn to play, you must remain in Bricen’s position and count 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, your opponent’s turn ends. If you fail in Bricen’s position, your opponent draws a prize card.

– Decks of both players are shuffled (mixed) and both players use a single deck to play.

– Departure of a prize. Best of 5.
