Max 32 judges per section to ensure we finish on time; choose section when signing up

Swiss rounds until a single person is undefeated
(Second place based on tiebreakers)

Winner of each section advances to the Playoff,
–> Pokémon GO (played on official tournament devices)

Casual Formats:

TCG Format: “Guapo UwU”

– Standard (Sword & Shield onwards) – 60 Cards
– Every player builds a standard deck using 60HP unevolved Pokémon. That means, the Pokémon MUST have an evolution on the PokéDex (for example, you cannot use a Spiritomb 60HP as it doesn’t have an evolution, but you can use a Misdreavus with that amount).
– There is currently no banlist. If you all believe a particular card would be unfair in the format, let us know in #prof-cup on the TC staff discord and maybe we’ll adjust!
– Each round, we’ll have one or more special rules. They can just be something that works differently for the entire round, or they can be “lightning strikes” that have a one-shot effect at a given, random moment

VGC Format: “Sinnoh Confirmed”

– Only Pokémon with National Pokédex numbers 1 to 488 are allowed
– Regional variants (Such as Alolan Ninetales and Galarian Articuno) are allowed, as long as they follow the above restriction
– Mew, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina are not permitted
– All Pokémon must have either the Galar Symbol or the Battle-Ready symbol
