Players must choose 12 letters of the alphabet. All Pokémon on the team must only know moves which have an English name beginning with one of those 12 letters.
Only two moves beginning with the same letter may be used anywhere on the team.
E.g. You may use 2 different Pokémon with Protect or; 1 single Pokémon with Protect and Population Bomb or; 1 Pokémon with Protect and 1 other Pokémon with Population Bomb.
