One benefit of the Professor Program is the ability to participate in events exclusive to Pokémon Professors. Announcement and registration for these events usually takes place on ProfCOM.
Professor Seminar
Professor Seminars are fun and educational sessions that often include workshops, group activities, and talks from program veterans. They are great places to make new friends and share experiences with like-minded Professors. The goal of Professor Seminars is to make sure every attendee leaves the session with something new to think about!
Eligibility Criteria
Most Professor Seminars are open to all Professors who are in good standing with Play! Pokémon – some are limited to staff of a specific event. Advance registration is usually required.
Professor Cup
Professor Cups are tournaments designed to celebrate the achievements and dedication of our wonderful Professor community! Each event has a specially designed tournament format and thematic, often unpredictable rules that keep players on their toes and provide for a truly unique experience. It’s a great opportunity to meet and network with Professors from all around your region. Prizes to be won include commemorative trophies and exclusive promo cards for the highest placing players.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for each Professor Cup may vary, so please check the criteria for the tournament prior to registering. Professors who attempt to register for Professor Cup tournaments without meeting these requirements may have their registration denied or rescinded upon eligibility screening.
Professor Conference
Professor Conferences are usually multi-day events that include Professor Seminars and Professor Cups, making them great opportunities for learning and networking.
